A family firm on North East sites
J.R Construction (N.E) Ltd is a family-run construction company based in Redcar. We've been working on sites across the North East since 2017, doing the groundworks and site work that developments are built on.
Who we are
We're a family business — that's how we describe ourselves on our own Facebook page, and it's the honest description. There's no head office somewhere else and no call centre: you speak to the people who run the firm and who are on the sites.
The work is mainly groundworks and site packages — clearing and stripping sites, digging and carting away, footings and foundations, drainage and access. We run our own excavators and operators through our sister company, JR Plant Hire (NE) Ltd, and that's the reason we can commit to a programme and hold it: we're not waiting on a hire company to free up a machine.
We work for housing developers and main contractors, and for private clients building their own homes.
Part of the community
We're proud to put something back locally — including sponsoring new boxing attire for the coaches and carded boxers at Redcar Amateur Boxing Club.
